Doors open differently when there are two of us behind them.

There is no version of this at our place, and no version where we take turns politely. She's methodical, I'm the one who gets impatient, and between us there's very little you could suggest that would raise an eyebrow.

Alone I'm sharper still. Rope, orders, and no interest at all in checking whether you're keeping up — you'll tell me if you aren't.

And if you're wondering which of us you'll prefer — you won't know, and neither will we until we're in the room. That uncertainty is most of the reason people book two.

We take one booking a night between us and we don't stack them. That's why the number is what it is, and why I'd rather you asked for a Thursday three weeks out than tried to arrange something for tonight.
