What is advertising here
All of it. A listing exists because an advertiser submitted it in order to be found, and the district, availability, description, languages, physical details, rates, photographs and video in it are their account of themselves. The directory renders, sorts and moderates those records; it does not test the claims in them, does not meet anyone and does not rank one advertiser above another as an opinion about quality. What money cannot buy
Ordering within a listing, position on a page, appearance in a district or category, and review scores are outside any commercial arrangement. Reviews come from readers and are moderated on their own merits; ordering is produced by the same rule for every listing. How the site is funded, and what it does not run
The site is supported by the arrangements under which advertisers are listed, agreed directly with the operator and outside this site. That is the whole of the commercial layer, and it is worth being specific about what it excludes.
- No affiliate links. No link on this site pays a commission when you click it or when you transact after clicking it.
- No sponsored editorial. Nothing outside a listing is paid placement dressed as information, and no third party pays to appear in the text of a page.
- No advertising network. No banner exchange, no display network, no retargeting pixel and no third-party advertising script runs on any page — the only script the site loads is its own.
- No paid reviews. Reviews are not solicited in exchange for anything and cannot be purchased, removed or corrected by payment.
Why this is stated rather than assumed
A directory that reads like a recommendation while being funded by the people it lists is the ordinary failure in this format, and it is invisible to a reader who is not told. Publishing the boundary is how it stays checkable: what an advertiser controls, what the directory controls, and where money enters.
